Grant was appointed executive vice-president in February 2023 and continues to retain the chief financial officer (CFO) function. Prior to this role, Isaac was appointed senior vice-president and CFO in July 2011. As chief financial officer, Grant provides executive oversight for finance, corporate strategy, sustainability and stakeholder relations, and global marketing.Grant joined Cameco as senior vice-president, corporate services in July 2009.
Prior to joining Cameco, he was a professor at the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan beginning in 2000 and was appointed as the Dean of the Edwards School of Business in 2006.
Grant received a BA (economics) and an MA (economics) from the University of Saskatchewan and a PhD from the London School of Economics.
