Overview
NSBA Network Series (Breakfast) Featuring:
Intentional Workplace Diversity and The Future of Works
A Presentation by : Anthony Olusola with Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc
Intentional workplace diversity is not just ticking the box of “Diversity and Inclusion” but making a conscious commitment to inclusion and building a workplace with diverse thoughts, perspectives, and life experiences. Benefits of intentional workplace diversity cannot be understated; it is not to appear more inclusive than competitors or to reach a ‘diversity quota’ but to move towards an all-embracing future of diversity and inclusion – a future of work, if you will.
Anthony’s presentation will highlight the work being done by Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc as specific to “Women Employment Readiness Program,” a unique initiative through which the organization provides tailored pre-employment training and wrap-around support for racialized women in the thematic aspects of essential employment skills and competences for workplace success, while building relationship with employers for the advancement of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
