Mayor Atchison has guided Saskatoon through more than a decade of exceptional economic expansion and population growth. Saskatoon is one of Canada’s fastest growing cities and home to nearly 270,000 people.
He was first elected Mayor in 2003, and is currently serving his fourth term as Mayor. At the end of his term he will be the longest serving Mayor in the city’s history
For Mayor Atchison, leadership matters and his cooperative leadership philosophy has brought together governments and the private sector to build a great city for families while fostering a positive business environment.
