Brent Penner, Executive Director for The Partnership, Saskatoon’s downtown Business improvement district, will speak to the NSBA membership about recent changes impacting the downtown core. With new developments including the recently detailed River Landing Project, a vibrant and bustling retail sector combined with increasing office vacancy puts the downtown in a unique situation. Throw in a bike lane or two, and some parking changes, and it’s clear to see that Saskatoon’s downtown is certainly entering new, if not unprecedented, territory. Penner will speak to these current realities while looking ahead to the future of Saskatoon’s downtown.
